Which of the following best describes the sustainability learning outcomes?:
---
A list of the institution level sustainability learning outcomes:
Every student has to have a set of Foundation and Distribution Requirements (FDRs). These do require a course of study that includes significant opportunity for sustainability related courses.
Natural and Physical Sciences requirement is presented this way:"The advancement of human society depends on liberally educated citizens who understand the natural world and have informed views about the impact of scientific endeavors on the quality of life. Observing natural and physical phenomena, formulating hypotheses, and testing those hypotheses with empirical methods are the essential aspects by which knowledge in the experimental sciences is advanced." Many of the courses offered to fulfill this requirement are sustainability inclusive or focused. It is however, possible (only just!) to meet the requirement without choosing at least one of those courses.
