A brief description of the program:
Facilities Managers work with Sun Services to coordinate cardboard collection. The Wesleyan Sustainability Office has been working more closely with Residential Life and Orientation organizers to ensure that staff are aware of existing recycling programs. Beginning in Fall 2013, Sustainability Office Student Interns and Waste Not volunteers will be assisting with cardboard collection and compaction to increase recycling rates.
The annual Waste Not tag sale is held on move-in weekend to reduce the amount of new items coming to campus and encourage reuse.
