A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory (including the types of faculty and staff included as researchers):
Prof. Krishna Winston, chair of the Sustainability Advisory Group for Environmental Stewardship (SAGES)'s Education Subcommittee, compiled a list of recent faculty research on sustainability by looking at faculty research profiles and posted research projects in 2013. This list was culled for faculty who have since left Wesleyan and included verification of research from 2013-16 on WesScholar whenever possible, but not all faculty publish their research there.
