The Office of Equity and Inclusion serves students, faculty, administrators and staff concerning all issues of equity and opportunity as they relate to race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, and gender expression.
The Office develops policies and procedures; and offers programming for the campus community regarding issues of diversity and equal opportunity / affirmative action. The Office of Equity & Inclusion also oversees the university-wide Equity Task Force, ADA Committee and multiple Title IX Committees.
The Office also oversees a number of academic programs under the umbrella of Pathways to Inclusive Education (PIE).

The Office for Equity & Inclusion provides leadership and guidance to address systemic inequities for all members of the Wesleyan community. Over 80% of all faculty and staff have participated in at least one training related to Title VII and Title IX on campus. Additionally, the Office offers and workshops on implicit bias, inclusive pedagogies, inclusive classrooms, best hiring practices in collaboration with the Office for Faculty Career Development, Human Resources and others.
