The data above reflects waste management for two projects undertaken in 2018-19: the demolition of Speakman Hall and the university's former coal-fired boiler plant (a total of 6,603 tons of waste generated) and the renovation of Anderson Hall (a total of 380 tons of waste generated). Construction Demolition and Waste Diversion managed by Bancroft Construction Company -- under contract to Stantec, an engineering and architecture firm working with West Chester University -- which used scrap metal dealers and sale / reuse of concrete and rubble.
