The Office of Sponsored Programs and Grants develops and implements incentive programs to encourage supported grant activity in all departments across campus in coordination with Academic Affairs.
The Sustainability Action Committee (SAC) also provides incentives to develop and teach new sustainability courses. For example, in the spring 2021, a SAC member taught 'WHY CAN’T I RECYCLE THIS?' History, Policy, and Opportunity in Recycling for 1 credit.

A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and Grants develops and implements incentive programs to encourage supported grant activity in all departments across campus in coordination with Academic Affairs. The OSP, in collaboration with Academic Affairs, offers a variety of incentives to encourage and support grant writing activity from faculty and staff across the University. Incentives are available to support activity during the pre-award stages that include agency targeted training, financial research support incentives, course release, and other concentrated opportunities.
