SUSTAINABILITY COUNCIL - The purpose of the Sutainability Council is to advocate for sustainability across campus. Specifically, the council responsibilities are to
• Advise Westminster administration on matters related to sustainability
• Integrate sustainability into the curriculum, operations, and campus life to create awareness and action among students, faculty, staff, and community
• Set high level vision and priorities regarding sustainability on campus and in the community
• Review all submissions to the Associated Students of Westminster Eco Warrior Fund over $1000, and oversee submission to the Sustainability Tracking Assessment and Rating System (STARS), and other sustainability ratings and certifications

The Environmental Center supports all the primary sustainability related project and campaigns on campus, as well as assessing sustainability. Major accomplishments since our last STARS report include lighting and chiller upgrades, a new waste management plan, and several successful student campaigns.
