The Campus Sustainability Coordinator serves as an institutional representative to this committee. The Sustainability Coordinator assists in advising the committee on actions to make the City of Walla Walla more sustainable. Items include development, water use, transportation, housing, infill, waste management, and opportunities for the campus to partner to with city on various aspects.

The Sustainable Living Center sponsors the community Smart Business Partnership. These partnerships outline a set of sustainability initiatives of our campus. We work with the Smart Business Partnership to develop plans to increase our sustainable impact. This partnership includes a number of organizations in the area that are attempting to make Walla Walla a more sustainable community.
