A brief description of how the institution accounted for its Scope 3 emissions:
We completed SIMAP®'s data entry as completely as possible. Some categories (i.e. directly financed travel) needed improved data collection methods, which we have now put in place for future years, so we had to rely on estimation more heavily than we would have preferred. We are not yet tracking food purchasing in relation to greenhouse gas emissions, but we intend to do so for next year.
