Whitman College is a small residential liberal arts college in Walla Walla, Washington, United States. The main campus is adjacent to downtown Walla Walla, bounded by Mill Creek to the south, Main Street to the west, Isaacs Avenue to the north (except for the Physical Plant, North Hall, the President's House, and the athletic fields), and Stanton and Merriam Streets to the east.
The institutional boundary also includes the Johnston Wilderness Campus in the Blue Mountains and the college-owned rental properties that are leased to students to supplement on-campus student housing.

The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
This boundary includes all properties that are actively used and maintained by Whitman College for institutional purposes. Trust properties that are owned by the college, including farmland and residences not leased to students, were excluded, as the college does not have operational control over them.
