A brief description of the incentive program(s):
The Leitner Awards for Uncommon Environmental Collaborations were created in 2018 to advance one of this six following objectives: climate change, urban systems and the environment, environmental communications, environmental data science, environmental justice and environmental health, and interdisciplinary team teaching. An example of a course resulting from the award is an interdisciplinary course on urban sanitation.

A brief description of the incentives that academic staff who participate in the program(s) receive:
Grants of up to $25,000 for teaching and $75,000 for research
