A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:
The York Federation of Students hosts the YFS Food Support Centre, which helps students overcome difficult financial circumstances by providing free non-perishable food and basic need items. Their primary goal is to have food and basic needs available to students of York University who are in a position where they can no longer afford to purchase these items for themselves. To access services, students email foodcentre@yfs.ca for further information about access, eligibility and operations.
