Institutionally, York’s Sustainability Strategy clearly states our commitment to sustainable investing - ""PL3: York University integrates sustainability into its overall financial plan, integrated resource plans and procurement, and is a responsible investor with respect to sustainability.

The Investment Committee (IC) is a Standing Committee of the Board of Governors that provides advice and oversight to the Board and the University regarding investment responsibilities for all invested funds. Statement of Investment Policy and Procedures (SIP&P) covers sustainable investing and the IC is responsible for it. The Statement of Beliefs for Sustainable Investing is covered in sections 3.10-3.16 of SIP&P. Implementing Sustainable Investing is covered in sections 3.17-3.21 of SIP&P.
